Child Development Center

In operation since 1969, the Child Development Center (CDC) at SRSH is a licensed daycare facility. All day programs are available for toddlers/preschoolers (2-5 years old). While school is in session, an after school program is offered for children ages 5-12 and during the summer, an all day program is available. The CDC offers an affordable sliding fee scale that is based on family size and income. Offering spacious classrooms, a large enclosed playground and gymnasium, computers with educational software and learning centers designed to enhance children's educational experiences, the CDC has extended care hours from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

The CDC employs highly qualified teachers to provide guidance for children with patience, understanding, and kindness. Our well trained staff has the knowledge to create a high quality, developmentally appropriate educational program that will help children gain necessary skills.

Operated on a non-discriminatory basis, our staff celebrates the cultural diversity of the children enrolled in the program. Books, pictures, clothes, food, and music from a variety of cultures serve to embrace the heritage of our families while teaching the children tolerance of others.
