What times are you open?
Monday-Friday 8:30-2:30. Stop by to drop off donations, or give us a call to schedule an appointment for the food pantry.
How many people do you impact with your charitable work?
In 2022 we helped over 12,000 families in Mon County.
If I make a donation, can I decide what my money is used for?
Yes! To designate your donation to a specific program, please indicate this information on the memo line of a check, or in the notes section on PayPal. All donations made without a designation are assigned to the program with the greatest need.
How is Scott's Run Settlement House different than other Morgantown area charities?
SRSH tries to address the root cause of why one of our community members needs help, and then create a customized approach for each need. From job interview coaching, to educational assistance to food assistance, we do more than just provide food to those in need.
If I need help but I'm not sure SRSH can help me, what should I do?
Please give us a call or contact us. Even if we can't help you, we will do everything we can to find the right solution for your needs.
What if I'm new to the area and don't have an address yet, or what if I'm evicted and no longer have an address in Mon County? Will SRSH still help me?
We evaluate each situation on a case by case basis. We won't know if we can help you unless you reach out. We will keep everything confidential and do whatever we can to help.
Are donations anonymous?
They can be! If you'd prefer to donate anonymously we will honor your request. For tax purposes we will keep a record and so should you, but we will not share any information unless approved.

Does SRSH take clothing or furniture donations?
Unfortunately we cannot accept clothing, furniture, or appliances due to storage.
